Light-up origami is your chance to showcase your artistic and scientific skills in one beautiful work of art. For ages 5 - 12 with parent or caregiver.

Combining the Japanese art of paper-folding and the modern science of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), make your own light-up origami. 

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

The library was established in February of 1969 in honor of Congressman Chet Holifield, 19th District (served 1943-1974). The library primarily serves the residents of south Montebello. In January 2011, the library reopened after a year-long refurbishment project.
