Monday, April 08
10:00am - 12:00pm

Meet outside the library for a partial view of the solar eclipse that will cross parts of Mexico, the United States, and Canada on April 8, 2024. For all ages.

A total solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the sun and earth at such an angle that the moon completely covers the sun and blocks out its light.

Special protective glasses will be provided to view the eclipse without damaging your eyes. Also, children can participate in an eclipse-themed art activity and learn about the phenomenon with a wide array of books and items to check out.
