About the branch

The library was founded in 1913 and moved to its present location in 1962. The facility was remodeled in 1978. The Friends of the Hawthorne Libraries started in 1979. The library serves a 5.99 square mile area.

Join us to learn about raising confident, competent children and explore strategies to try at home with your family. This seminar will be led by an accredited Triple P Positive Parenting Program librarian. For parents and caregivers of age 3 - 12.

Join Drones4teens as they give a demonstration of how drones operate and fly. As time permits, you may also be able to fly a drone. Advance registration is required. Please register every teen in your party. For teens ages 12 - 18.
