The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning from Tuesday, July 14 through Thursday, July 16. While all LA County Libraries offer a break from the heat during normal hours, many locations have been activated as Cooling Centers with extended hours.
All teens are welcome to join our crochet club. Mix, mingle, and share your techniques, patterns, or simply take some time to work on your own project. Don’t have a project? Consult library materials for ideas. For ages 13 – 17.
Bell Library was established in 1913 as the 29th branch of the County of Los Angeles Public Library System. After having been relocated several times, the library was built at the present location in 1960.
Due to the rapid growth of the community, the building was expanded in 1973. It is presently serving one of the most culturally diverse communities in Los Angeles County.
