The Longoria Affair documents the tragic events of the funeral of Felix Longoria and how they lead to the rise of Latinos as a political force.

Felix Longoria died fighting the Japanese in World War II.  When his body was returned
to his hometown in Texas, the only funeral home available refused to let his family use the chapel because, “the whites wouldn’t like it.”

Join us and see how this incident and the political leadership of Dr. Hector Garcia helped lead to the rise of Latinos as a national political force.
