Author/TV Personality Luis Reyes will discuss his latest book "Viva Hollywood" which celebrates the legacy of Latin and Hispanic artists in Hollywood.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Author/TV Personality Luis I. Reyes as seen on Turner Classic
Movies and featured in the LA Times. Mr. Reyes will discuss his latest book "Viva Hollywood!" which
celebrates the legacy of Latin and Hispanic artists in the Hollywood film industry. Mr. Reyes presents the
achievements of Latin film artists from the present day (Jennifer Lopez, Pedro Pascal, Salma Hayek,
Edward James Olmos, Jenna Ortega, Gina Rodriguez) back to the founding of the film industry in
Hollywood.

About the branch

The Chicano Resource Center (CRC) was established in 1976 to serve the information needs of the Mexican-American (Chicano) community and to make information about the history and culture of this group available to the general public. The Chicano Resource Center is located in East Los Angeles Library.
