In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, please join us to create Guatemalan barriletes which are traditional kites that are an integral part of the country's cultural and religious traditions.

Learn about the origins of barriletes and how they are particularly associated with the Day of the Dead celebrations. All materials will be provided. For adults.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Los Nietos Library had its beginning shortly after World War I, in September 1919. Since its founding, the Library has offered service in five locations. A bookmobile provided library service to the community for a short time.
