Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

The first Westlake Village Daniel K. Ludwig Library was dedicated on March 27, 1993. The library operates under a joint agreement between the City of Westlake Village and the County of Los Angeles Public Library.

The library was named after Westlake Village developer and visionary, Daniel K. Ludwig. The library moved to a brand new and larger facility on February 5, 2002.

Join us as we learn about the history and cultural significance of Koi fish as you paint your own koi pond using watercolors. For ages 13 - 17.

Fri, May 16, 10:30am - 11:00am
Little artists can create unique art while exploring early learning skills. A representative from Public Health will be available to answers questions about Oral Health. For ages 2 - 5 and their caregivers.

Sat, May 17, 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Making art is good for your brain and helps lower stress! To celebrate the season, we will be painting adorable watercolor butterflies. For adults.

This will be a 2 part program. The first program will be dedicated to shaping and imprinting our botanical designs. In the second program, we will be painting the clay. You must attend both programs in order to complete the project. For adults.
