Teens, as future leaders, changemakers, and voters it's important to be engaged in politics and civics. Your voice shapes the direction of government, at both national and local level.

Empower yourself at our next Teen Culture Club meeting where we'll make custom vinyl stickers, proudly displaying support for whatever causes float your boat! We'll also discuss the upcoming 2024 elections and the issues that matter most to youth.

This program is part of the Teen Culture Club series in collaboration with Huntington Park Library.

About the branch

Proudly serving the residents of the vibrant City of Huntington Park and neighboring areas, the Huntington Park Library was founded in 1913 and originally housed in the City Hall.

As the library continued to grow, it moved to larger locations in 1924 and 1931. The present library building in the Civic Center was dedicated in 1970.

A significant sculpture designed by artist Tom Van Sant, "Flight Form," was also dedicated in 1970 and is suspended from the second floor ceiling.

An active Friends of the Library group was formed in 1996 to promote and support Library services to the community.
