Se analizará el impacto del duelo y la pérdida, junto con ejemplos de un duelo saludable y resiliencia en medio de la pérdida.

Los talleres de Promotores de Salud Mental abordan una variedad de temas de salud mental para ayudar a los angelinos a entender y manejar su salud mental. Estamos trabajando para reducir el estigma y empoderar a las personas a buscar ayuda cuando la necesiten y reconocer problemas antes de que se conviertan en crisis.

El impacto del duelo y la pérdida puede ser profundo y, a veces, sentirse insoportable. Sin embargo, eso es parte del proceso. En este taller, los participantes aprenderán sobre el duelo saludable y cómo mantener la resiliencia en medio del dolor.

No importa por lo que estés pasando, la Biblioteca del Condado de Los Ángeles es un recurso para ti. Accede a las herramientas y conocimientos que necesitas para priorizar tu salud mental y construir un futuro resiliente.

About the branch

Proudly serving the residents of the vibrant City of Huntington Park and neighboring areas, the Huntington Park Library was founded in 1913 and originally housed in the City Hall.

As the library continued to grow, it moved to larger locations in 1924 and 1931. The present library building in the Civic Center was dedicated in 1970.

A significant sculpture designed by artist Tom Van Sant, "Flight Form," was also dedicated in 1970 and is suspended from the second floor ceiling.

An active Friends of the Library group was formed in 1996 to promote and support Library services to the community.
