Music helps your baby’s brain make more learning connections, build fine and gross motor skills, and teach social skills. Come play with us! For ages 0 - 36 months and caregivers.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, all adults and kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

This program is part of Smart Start at the Library, LA County Library's collection of programs and services for
early learners ages 0 - 5 and their caregivers.

About the branch

Proudly serving the residents of the vibrant City of Huntington Park and neighboring areas, the Huntington Park Library was founded in 1913 and originally housed in the City Hall.

As the library continued to grow, it moved to larger locations in 1924 and 1931. The present library building in the Civic Center was dedicated in 1970.

A significant sculpture designed by artist Tom Van Sant, "Flight Form," was also dedicated in 1970 and is suspended from the second floor ceiling.

An active Friends of the Library group was formed in 1996 to promote and support Library services to the community.
