Teens, celebrate Native American Heritage Month and learn hand-coiled pottery-making from award-winning artist Rowan Harrison. For ages 12 - 17. 

Rowan, who is affiliated with the Pueblo of Isleta, will explain the history and cultivation of clay work going back to the Ancestral Puebloans. Then, we'll create our own pottery using clay and ceramic tools.

About the branch

The Castaic Library opened in November, 2008 in a 6,985 square foot storefront facility. To meet the needs of a growing community, a renovated and expanded library opened in March, 2015. The new Castaic Library features a community meeting room, two group study rooms, an expansive Children's area and a dedicated Teen area. Prior to the opening of the Castaic Library, the area was served by the Santa Clarita Bookmobile.
