Join us for an afternoon of enchanting music with Los Angeles Philharmonic violinist, Paul Stein. Paul's musical talents will transport the audience to a joyous world of melodic delights! For ages 5 – 12 with parents or caregivers.

This event will take place in the Homework Center. Paul Stein has played with the LA Phil for 38 years. He will share with us the beautiful music of Mozart and Beethoven and speak about his experiences playing with the Philharmonic.

About the branch

Proudly serving the residents of the vibrant City of Huntington Park and neighboring areas, the Huntington Park Library was founded in 1913 and originally housed in the City Hall.

As the library continued to grow, it moved to larger locations in 1924 and 1931. The present library building in the Civic Center was dedicated in 1970.

A significant sculpture designed by artist Tom Van Sant, "Flight Form," was also dedicated in 1970 and is suspended from the second floor ceiling.

An active Friends of the Library group was formed in 1996 to promote and support Library services to the community.
