Your child can draw a self-portrait, with half of it illustrating who they are now, and the other half illustrating who they want to be in 2025. For ages 6 - 12 with their adult caregiver.

This offers children a chance to reflect on their past selves, and set some New Year's resolutions!


Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

The first Westlake Village Daniel K. Ludwig Library was dedicated on March 27, 1993. The library operates under a joint agreement between the City of Westlake Village and the County of Los Angeles Public Library.

The library was named after Westlake Village developer and visionary, Daniel K. Ludwig. The library moved to a brand new and larger facility on February 5, 2002.
