You are invited to celebrate the Kwanzaa principle UJamaa, Cooperative Economics. Come sample cultural foods, enjoy art activities, music, & shop local vendors. For adults, teens and families.

You are invited to celebrate the Kwanzaa principle UJamaa, Cooperative Economics, by networking with entrepreneurs and exhibitors who will provide a wide range of products and services from South Los Angeles communities and beyond. You can sample cultural foods, enjoy art activities and music, and shop consciously with local vendors. Purchase new and gently used books from the Friends of AC Bilbrew and Woodcrest Libraries. A special Kwanzaa presentation is also included in the festivities.
Co-sponsored by the LA South Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of AC Bilbrew and Woodcrest Libraries.

About the branch

The Black Resource Center (BRC) was established as a special service of LA County Library in 1978 to serve the informational and educational needs of African Americans and the larger population by supporting research and study on social, historical and cultural aspects unique to the African American experience. The Black Resource Center is located in A C Bilbrew Library.
