February's Read and Create will celebrate African American and Black History Month. We'll read Chris Barton's Whoosh!: Lonnie Johnson's Super-Soaking Stream of Inventions and make an invention of our own.

About the branch

Rivera library was founded in 1913 and has been at its present location since 1970. The library is located in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood, with heavy usage by children. Rivera is the smaller of the two libraries in the city of Pico Rivera.
