Puppets are classic toys that help children develop social and emotional skills. At this workshop, children can decorate and personalize their own puppet to take home. They can also enjoy free play with some of our library puppet friends.

Parents will also have an opportunity during the program to chat with a representative from the Department of Public Health to learn about child passenger safety.

For children 1–5 with a parent or caregiver.

About the branch

Founded in 1913 as the second branch of the Los Angeles County Free Library, the San Dimas Library was originally located in the back of Fairbank's Drug Store. Subsequently, it moved to a storefront location on Bonita Avenue. The present building, located in the San Dimas Civic Center, was dedicated in 1971.
