Join LA County Librarian Skye Patrick & Ask Bubbie, aka Dr. Florence Rosen, a retired pediatrician and advice columnist, for a conversation about parenting (& grandparenting!) in the age of social media. Plus -- Bubbie answers your questions!

Escape the dark and never-ending Google rabbit hole, at least for a little while. Ask Bubbie brings 42 years of medical and teaching experience and an empathetic, no-nonsense attitude to her popular social media advice channels. She and Skye will sit down for a conversation about parenting across generations, the highs and lows of sharing information on social media, and Bubbie will be answering your questions.

For years, Dr. Florence Rosen was a resource to her friends, patients, and community in Cherry Hill, NJ. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania medical school and having completed her residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, you’d be hard pressed to find a better source of information about childhood illnesses, safety, and development. But after retiring and welcoming her first grandson last summer, she took a step in a new direction and started offering advice and answering questions on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube as Ask Bubbie, where she has over 475K combined subscribers.
