Consider serving your community by joining the Friends of Castaic Library. Friends sort donations, stock shelves, run large book sales twice a year, manage paperwork, and hold quarterly meetings with the library manager. Board positions open.
The Castaic Library opened in November, 2008 in a 6,985 square foot storefront facility. To meet the needs of a growing community, a renovated and expanded library opened in March, 2015. The new Castaic Library features a community meeting room, two group study rooms, an expansive Children's area and a dedicated Teen area. Prior to the opening of the Castaic Library, the area was served by the Santa Clarita Bookmobile.
