Please join us for an informative workshop on the awareness, treatment and recovery from anxiety including recognizing the difference between worry and anxiety disorders and effective strategies to reduce anxiety. For Adults.

Department of Mental Health Promoters Workshops tackle a range of mental health topics to help Angelenos understand and manage their mental health. We are working to reduce stigma and empower individuals to seek help when needed and recognize problems before they become crises.


This workshop will shed light on various forms of anxiety. When to seek treatment, resiliency, and promoting wellbeing will be covered.

About the branch

Live Oak Library was founded in 1917. As the business areas along Live Oak Avenue were incorporated into the city of Arcadia, the library site moved eastward until it came to its current location in 1964 in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County.
