The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning from Tuesday, July 14 through Thursday, July 16. While all LA County Libraries offer a break from the heat during normal hours, many locations have been activated as Cooling Centers with extended hours.
Are you a teen interested in making a difference in your library and community? Join Carson Library's Teen Advisory Board (TAB) and help the Library plan programs for teens! For teens and tweens in grades 6 - 12.

After the meeting, celebrate Women's History Month by learning about the Women's Rights Movement, and explore the way people showed support for different causes through button making, such as women's suffrage. Then, make your very own button.
Established in 1938 as the Keystone Branch, the library merged with the Carson Branch in 1959. The present building was opened in 1972 and serves 19.24 square miles.
