Join us for an afternoon of fun! Participants will craft unique and personalized notebooks using scraps and found items. Make something special for yourself, a friend, or loved one. Learn about how having a creative outlet is beneficial to your mental health.
All materials will be provided. But feel free to bring your own pictures or decorations to personalize your notebooks.
For teens ages 12 – 17.
Proudly serving the residents of the vibrant City of Huntington Park and neighboring areas, the Huntington Park Library was founded in 1913 and originally housed in the City Hall.
As the library continued to grow, it moved to larger locations in 1924 and 1931. The present library building in the Civic Center was dedicated in 1970.
A significant sculpture designed by artist Tom Van Sant, "Flight Form," was also dedicated in 1970 and is suspended from the second floor ceiling.
An active Friends of the Library group was formed in 1996 to promote and support Library services to the community.
