Join us to learn about raising responsible teenagers and explore strategies to take home and try with your family. This seminar will be led by an accredited Triple P Positive Parenting Program librarian. For parents and caregivers of 13-18.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

In 1958, two branches (Moneta, opened in 1913 and Strawberry Park opened in 1919) merged into West Gardena Library. A fire in 1969 caused the branch to move into a new building.

The new building located at 14433 S. Crenshaw, was dedicated on February 26, 1977, in honor of Mr. Masao William Satow. Mr. Satow (1908-1976) was a Japanese-American of monumental distinction. He helped in the shaping of the lives of young adults in the community.
