Arts Month is an opportunity to celebrate the role of art and artists in Los Angeles County. This April, LA County Library, in collaboration with the Department of Arts & Culture, is hosting a virtual program highlighting the County's Civic Art Collection and three of its contributing artists: Rebeca Méndez, Noé Montes, and Felix Quintana. Kristin Sakoda, Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, will be co-hosting with the Library. This panel discussion will explore the careers and work of these three artists with special regards to their experiences working on civic art commissions. This conversation will be followed by a Q&A.
