Arts Month is an opportunity to celebrate the role of art and artists in Los Angeles County. This April, LA County Library, in collaboration with the Department of Arts & Culture, is hosting a virtual program highlighting the County's Civic Art Collection and three of its contributing artists: Rebeca Méndez, Noé Montes, and Felix Quintana. Kristin Sakoda, Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, will be co-hosting with the Library. This panel discussion will explore the careers and work of these three artists with special regards to their experiences working on civic art commissions.
