Meeting Room

This workshop explores the importance of mental health, warning signs and common mental health disorders. Stigma reduction, resiliency, and promoting wellbeing will be reviewed.

Department of Mental Health Promoters Workshops tackle a range of mental health topics to help Angelenos understand and manage their mental health. We are working to reduce stigma and empower individuals to seek help when needed and recognize problems before they become crises.

In this program, participants will learn how to identify warning signs and common mental health concerns. Additionally, we will discuss ways to reduce the stigma often associated with mental health issues, resiliency, and ways to improve wellbeing.

No matter what you're going through, LA County Library is a resource for you. Access the tools and knowledge you need to prioritize your mental health and build a resilient future.
