Teens, join us as celebrate Women's History Month with a discussion of Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston. For ages 13 – 18.

The Teens Read Classics Book Club is celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May.  Join us this month as we discuss Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston.  Read the book in your spare time, then join us on Tuesday, May 20th, for the discussion.  Bring your thoughts, your questions, and a friend, as we meet in the YA area of the library.  The more the merrier!


Teen volunteers, come by and help me set up, host, and clean up afterwards for service credit.

About the branch

Founded in 1913 as the second branch of the Los Angeles County Free Library, the San Dimas Library was originally located in the back of Fairbank's Drug Store. Subsequently, it moved to a storefront location on Bonita Avenue. The present building, located in the San Dimas Civic Center, was dedicated in 1971.
