We're building a community inspiration garden! Come help us create a space that will inspire others over the summer in this 2 week program. For ages 5-12 with a parent or caregiver.

In this second week program we'll make a kindness rock, read stories that center on kindness, and learn a mindfulness activity using our decorated rock.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Founded in 1917, the new 16,000 square foot library was dedicated on December 14, 2013. It replaced the old 7,700 square foot circular library constructed in 1961. Funding for the new LEED rated library was provided by the City of Pico Rivera and Supervisorial District 1.

It is the larger of the two libraries serving the city and provides support services for two smaller libraries in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.
