Bring a friend (or just yourself) for this instructor-led painting class that features a cherry blossom tree under a moonlit sky with some butterfly friends. For adults ages 18+.

Sip on hot coco or tea while you and your friends, family, or loved ones paint the night away! All skill levels are welcome to participate. All materials provided. Please be aware that refreshments will be served. A list of ingredients will be available.

Attendance is limited and advance registration is required.

About the branch

The library was built by the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors in 1976 to serve the Marina clientele. The William R. Pagen Nautical Wing and the Greg and Mimi Wenger Community Room were added in 1999 through the efforts of the Marina Foundation, the Board of Supervisors and the County of Los Angeles Public Library.

The Marina del Rey Library was renamed the Lloyd Taber-Marina del Rey Library by the Board of Supervisors in recognition of the main donor to the project. Since the Marina is a small craft harbor used for recreational purposes, the Lloyd Taber-Marina del Rey Library has developed a Nautical Collection to serve the informational needs and interests of small boaters.
