Teen Volunteer orientation is specifically for summer volunteers during Sumer Discovery Program, June & July. For ages 14 – 18.
Teens, do you need to earn community service hours this summer? Come into the library and ask our staff about summer volunteering. We'll give you all the information you need. Then be sure to come back on Saturday, June 7th, for the orientation to make you an official volunteer! If you can't attend the orientation, come in and speak to us when you can. The sooner the better in May or early June! We'll do everything we can to help you make your volunteering dreams into our NonFiction Reality!
Founded in 1913 as the second branch of the Los Angeles County Free Library, the San Dimas Library was originally located in the back of Fairbank's Drug Store. Subsequently, it moved to a storefront location on Bonita Avenue. The present building, located in the San Dimas Civic Center, was dedicated in 1971.
