Join us in welcoming Ruby Warrington, author of “Sober Curious,” as she sits down with LA County Librarian, Skye Patrick, for a nonjudgmental discussion around alcohol consumption, wellness, and moving through our lives with more intention.

Ruby Warrington's “Sober Curious” is a thought-provoking exploration that challenges the conventional norms surrounding alcohol consumption. Warrington, who coined the term "sober curious," invites readers to examine their relationship with alcohol—not necessarily to quit, but to understand its role in our social, emotional, and physical lives.

Ruby Warrington is the author of “Sober Curious” and is the host of the million-download podcast of the same title—work that has spearheaded a global movement to reevaluate our relationship to alcohol. Her other books include “Material Girl, Mystical World” (2017), “The Numinous Astro Deck”  (2019), and “The Sober Curious Reset” (2020). With 25 years’ experience as a lifestyle journalist and editor, she is fascinated by how our individual life choices both influence and are shaped by emerging cultural movements—a perspective that she brings to her work as a manuscript coach and publishing consultant. Her new book, “Women Without Kids,” is out now.
