Please join us after Smarty Pants Storytime on July 3 for an opportunity to chat with a Family Community Specialist from the Department of Public Health and learn about distracted driving.

Join us on July 17 for a special Summer Discovery Program storytime!

This program is part of Smart Start at the Library, LA County Library's collection of programs and services for early learners ages 0 - 5 and their caregivers.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

The Castaic Library opened in November, 2008 in a 6,985 square foot storefront facility. To meet the needs of a growing community, a renovated and expanded library opened in March, 2015. The new Castaic Library features a community meeting room, two group study rooms, an expansive Children's area and a dedicated Teen area. Prior to the opening of the Castaic Library, the area was served by the Santa Clarita Bookmobile.
