Let’s get ready for school! Enjoy books, songs, rhymes, and movement while learning school readiness skills and having fun. For ages 2 - 5 with their parent or caregiver.
This program is part of Smart Start at the Library, LA County Library's collection of programs and services for early learners ages 0 - 5 and their caregivers.
Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.
Scoop 'N' Serve: Paper Plate Ice Cream - Children will have an opportunity to create their very own ice cream cone and scoop masterpiece on a paper plate and then decorate it with a variety of toppings, too! This art activity will help children develop fine motor skills, social interactions, and cognitive abilities, as well.

Los Nietos Library had its beginning shortly after World War I, in September 1919. Since its founding, the Library has offered service in five locations. A bookmobile provided library service to the community for a short time.
