Decorate your very own pencil box using paint, stickers, markers, and more. For ages 5-12 with a parent or caregiver.

While the boxes dry, we’ll take a fun tour of the library’s physical and digital collection and introduce you to some super school resources for kids. 

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Rivera library was founded in 1913 and has been at its present location since 1970. The library is located in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood, with heavy usage by children. Rivera is the smaller of the two libraries in the city of Pico Rivera.
