Christopher Guerrero is a Latinx filmmaker from California’s Central Valley—a place where stories are currency, survival is art, and resources are scarce. He turned to filmmaking not for fame, but because storytelling was his way of confronting injustice and reclaiming identity.
After earning his MFA from USC, Christopher’s career accelerated—directing campaigns for brands like Disney, GEICO, Microsoft, and Coca-Cola, and working with talent like The Rock, Wayne Brady, and Jack Black. His voice blends horror, heart, and razor-sharp satire. He now teaches directing at USC.
His work has been a part of top-tier festivals including Slamdance, Austin, Santa Barbara, and HollyShorts, and he’s been selected for fellowships with Stowe Labs, RespectAbility Lab, FREE THE WORKS, AdAge’s “The List,” AICP, and the CDDP Directing Program.
