Join us for a special effects themed face painting workshop and level up your cosplay! You’ll learn to enhance your costumes with unique facial features and build skills to share with friends and family. For ages 13 – 17.

This program is part of LA County Library’s My Brother’s Keeper mentoring program and features an MBK Peer Advocate as a co-host and youth mentor. This program is funded in part by the Uchenna Nwosu Foundation. 

Parents and guardians: Please be aware that refreshments will be served at this program. A list of ingredients will be available.

About the branch

Established in 1938 as the Keystone Branch, the library merged with the Carson Branch in 1959. The present building was opened in 1972 and serves 19.24 square miles.
