Interested in Dungeons & Dragons but don't know where to start? Join us for a workshop all about developing your characters for the game! For tweens and teens ages 10- 17.
Unleash your imagination and create a hero (or villain)! This workshop will guide players through the process of creating their own unique Dungeons & Dragons character—from choosing a race and class to developing a backstory and personality. Whether you're new to D&D or a seasoned player, you'll leave with a new character ready for your next campaign.
Character sheets are provided. We encourage players to bring their dice packs if they have it.
Attendance is limited and advance registration is required. Please be aware that refreshments will be served. A list of ingredients will be available.

The library was built by the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors in 1976 to serve the Marina clientele. The William R. Pagen Nautical Wing and the Greg and Mimi Wenger Community Room were added in 1999 through the efforts of the Marina Foundation, the Board of Supervisors and the County of Los Angeles Public Library.
The Marina del Rey Library was renamed the Lloyd Taber-Marina del Rey Library by the Board of Supervisors in recognition of the main donor to the project. Since the Marina is a small craft harbor used for recreational purposes, the Lloyd Taber-Marina del Rey Library has developed a Nautical Collection to serve the informational needs and interests of small boaters.
