Are you a teen interested in making a difference in your library and community? Join the Teen Advisory Board! You will have the opportunity to voice your opinion and provide suggestions for new programs and services, while working with teens that share your interests in the library, and helping the community. You can even earn community service hours while you have fun. New participants are always welcome—bring a friend!

This month celebrate Native American Heritage Month by learning about the significance of the strawberry in different Native American cultures. We'll discuss ways to share about this month with friends as we cross-stitch a strawberry.

About the branch

The library was established in February of 1969 in honor of Congressman Chet Holifield, 19th District (served 1943-1974). The library primarily serves the residents of south Montebello. In January 2011, the library reopened after a year-long refurbishment project.
