Our Book Club meets on the last Wednesday of every month. 

February's Book Pick is Maid For Each Other by Lynn Painter

A broke college student takes a job as a maid and ends up working for a guy who annoys her as much as he intrigues her. As their clashing personalities lead to unexpected chemistry, they’re pushed into a situation where they have to rely on each other—whether they like it or not.

About the branch

Friendly El Monte, the End of the Santa Fe Trail, was incorporated in 1912. The city was once home to Gay's Lion Farm during the 1930s and famous for the roaring lion on MGM's logo.

The El Monte Library was founded in 1890, and joined the Los Angeles County Public Library in 1913. It has been at its present location since 1967.
