Celebrate Black History Month with us by exploring the work of African American artist Kara Walker and designing an art piece that highlights her distinctive silhouette style. For teens ages 12 - 18.

This program is funded by the County of Los Angeles Probation Department through the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA). JJCPA/Probation requires the collection of data on program participants including full name, date of birth, ethnicity, gender, zip code, and signature. Guardian consent is also required to participate.

City Terrace Library has been at its present location since 1979. In 2009, the library was refurbished with the support of Gloria Molina, Supervisor of the First District, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
