Compete in the Reading Bowl! Read all 3 of the selected books that bring the past to life and compete with fellow teens in a fun challenge celebrating history and impactful stories. For pre-teens and teens ages 12 - 18.

The top 3 teams are eligible for prizes! The event is comprised of 8 teams with 3 to 5 contestants each.

This year's featured books are: 
Days of Infamy by Lawrence Goldstone
The Duel by Judith St. George
Adventures of Mary Jane by Hope Jahren 

Parents and Caregivers: Food items will be used in this program. A list of ingredients will be available at the program.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Library service in Stevenson Ranch began in July 2011 with the opening of Stevenson Ranch Express Library. In March, 2015, a new Stevenson Ranch Library opened to provide a full service library to the West Ranch communities. Library service in the Santa Clarita Valley area began in 1916 with the establishment of the original Newhall Library. The Stevenson Ranch Library pays tribute to a century of service with a local history collection and the original editorial cartoons of the Randy Wicks Collection.
