Synopsis:

Ron Chernow, the highly lauded biographer of Alexander Hamilton, George Washington, and Ulysses S. About the branch

Live Oak Library was founded in 1917. As the business areas along Live Oak Avenue were incorporated into the city of Arcadia, the library site moved eastward until it came to its current location in 1964 in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County.
