Celebrate creativity and culture with Artsy Kids in an engaging workshop where participants will create vibrant 3D paper art inspired by the work of artist Charles McGee in honor of African American and Black History Month. For ages 5 - 12.

This activity combines drawing, layering, and paper manipulation to create dynamic designs that pop off the page.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Rivera library was founded in 1913 and has been at its present location since 1970. The library is located in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood, with heavy usage by children. Rivera is the smaller of the two libraries in the city of Pico Rivera.
