Curiosity welcomed! Come investigate the world by practicing shape, letter, and number recognition. For ages 0-5 with their parents or caregivers.

Little ones will have the opportunity to move to different activity stations exploring shapes, numbers, and colors. Bond with your child, meet other parents and chat with a representative from the Department of Public Health and learn about distracted driving. 

This program is part of Smart Start at the Library, LA County Library's collection of programs and services for early learners ages 0-5 and their caregivers.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Rivera library was founded in 1913 and has been at its present location since 1970. The library is located in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood, with heavy usage by children. Rivera is the smaller of the two libraries in the city of Pico Rivera.
