She Persisted!

In-Person Program

Celebrate Women's History Month and learn about women who have made an impact on the world. We'll read books in the series She Persisted, and make mini trading cards that can be shared to highlight individual contributions. For ages 5-12

Attendance is limited and advanced registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Rivera library was founded in 1913 and has been at its present location since 1970. The library is located in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood, with heavy usage by children. Rivera is the smaller of the two libraries in the city of Pico Rivera.
