Celebrate African American and Black History Month at the library! Learn about famous Black artists and their contribution to American art as a whole, then create your own work of art inspired by them! For ages 5 – 12 with a parent or caregiver 

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Claremont Library was founded in 1914. It has been at its current location since 1928. The present building opened on April 25, 1975. The Friends of the Claremont Public Library was founded in 1957.
