Stimulate your child's learning through music and educational toys while they engage in various styles of play. For ages 0 - 5 with a parent or caregiver.

Enjoy a unique bonding experience and join us after Play and Explore for an opportunity to chat with a Family Community Specialist and learn about Positive Parenting from a Triple P Positive Parenting Program accredited librarian.

This program is part of Smart Start at the Library, LA County Library's collection of programs and services for early learners ages 0 - 5 and their caregivers.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Rivera library was founded in 1913 and has been at its present location since 1970. The library is located in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood, with heavy usage by children. Rivera is the smaller of the two libraries in the city of Pico Rivera.
