Join us for a screening of the 2019 film Monsoon, starring Henry Golding and Parker Sawyers and directed by Hong Khaou. Not rated. For adults.

Kit returns to Ho Chi Minh City for the first time since he was six years old when his family fled the country in the aftermath of the Vietnam war. There he arranges an online date that turns into something more with Lewis, an American clothing designer. Struggling to make sense of himself in a city he's no longer familiar with, he embarks on a personal journey across the country that opens up the possibility for friendship, love and happiness.

About the branch

West Hollywood Library began service to the area (then unincorporated ) in 1913. The library was previously located at Sherman School, a cottage on Clark Street, a building on Westbourne Drive, and a building near the present site. The Library has an active Friends of the Library group.

The new library was dedicated October 1, 2011.
