Think you’re “not artistic”? Then this program is for you! Join us for a relaxing, hands-on Monoprint Art Workshop for Adults where creativity flows naturally and no artistic skill is required whatsoever.

Using simple materials such as oil pastels, paper, and pencils, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind print through an easy, guided process. The beauty of monoprinting is that the magic happens in the transfer, so there’s no pressure to draw perfectly. Every piece turns out unique and surprisingly beautiful!

Come unwind, experiment with color and texture, and leave with your own original artwork. No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and enjoy the process.

About the branch

Bell Gardens Library first opened in August, 1938 at 5656 Live Oak St. As the City of Bell Gardens grew and expanded, so did the library.

On September 22, 1958 the library moved to 7515 Eastern Ave. (a store front location).

The library moved to its current location, 7110 S. Garfield Avenue, on May 7th, 1970. On July 21, 2007 the library had a Grand Re-Opening ceremony to celebrate a 6-month major refurbishment project.
