Get ready to squish, shape, and sculpt! Kids will discover simple techniques like rolling, pinching, and molding to bring their ideas to life, then use their creativity to design their own clay masterpieces.

Along the way, they’ll also learn about different types of sculpture and how artists use clay as a form of expression.  All materials are provided.  Just bring your imagination and get ready to create! For ages 5-12 and their families.

About the branch

The library, originally founded in 1929 as the Stephenson Library, moved into its present location in 1972 and was rededicated as El Camino Real Library in 1975. The library was rededicated again in November 2014 after a renovation and expansion that added a meeting room, teen area, and outdoor reading patio. The library is located on the historic El Camino Real.
