Celebrate the Summer of Soccer with Trailblazers in Conversation!
From hosting youth soccer clinics to supporting community foodbanks to building a network of supportive youth coaches, Angel City Football Club is redefining what it means to be a professional sports presence in a community.
Chris Fajardo, a San Francisco native, has been with Angel City since its first season in 2022 and currently holds the position of Vice President of Community with the club. Previously, Chris was the Chief Program Officer for Coaching Corps (now Positive Coaching Alliance) where he worked for 14 years overseeing national afterschool, government and professional sport partnerships. Before that Chris held roles in education, first as a high school science teacher and then as a youth development instructor for sports coaches.
Chris is passionate about soccer, both as a player and a fan. Playing through college and into his adult life, soccer has given him the opportunity to play both domestically and internationally. Chris has a gold medal from the 2018 Paris Gay Games, a gold medal from the 2023 World Championships in Sydney, Australia, and is about to compete in his fourth Gay Games in Valencia, Spain.
